The Megamen were formed in 2002 after several veteran players from the USCLA teams of Brine, Rolling Rock, and Boston Lacrosse Clubs returned from playing in the ILF World Lacrosse Tournament in Australia, playing in the Masters Division. Since then, the Megaman have been a very popular and successful team on and off the field, recruiting and expanding in the open and elite class tournaments and leagues.. 2008 was the year of championships for the Megamen, they won all sessions of indoor lacrosse in two leagues (the ZILL and Run and Gun), they won the Ulax Spring league, the Manzelli Cup, Cape Cod Shootout, Cape Ann Invitational and their fourth Croart summer league.   Many of the elder statesmen that moved from the elite/open to masters have played in the  over 30 ONELL league winning three consecutive championship as well.
